A Little Latté - eye balm

A Little Latté - eye balm

Say goodbye to tired, puffy eyes and fine lines. Christie, our creator, made this when she was a very tired mom of two and a teacher of elementary school. She needed something to take care of her puffy, dark eyes without irritating her sensitive eye area. A best seller for over a decade now!

Sometimes, during shipping, the balm consistency will change due to extreme cold or heat. If your balm shows little “snowflakes” or is somewhat gritty, never fear. This is what herbalists call the bloom! This proves it’s an entirely organic product without any chemical emulsification. Simply warm the product backup using a double boiler or on low on a flat stovetop. This will reset the balm. Or, use as is. The last photo shows the balm after several uses in a cold climate. .25 oz.

FAQ

Choosing the Best Product for You

This is formulated for extra sensitive eyes. Just remember, a dab'll do ya. Use less if you find that it feels "oily" after 15-20 minutes of application.

Organic Ingredients.

Coffee, along with the skin of the bean, known as cascara, is natural antioxidant. This helps prevent future damage/aging to the skin and can help diminish darkness and puffiness under the eyes.

Ingredients:Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Raw African Shea Butter, Organic Coffee Beans, Organic Cascara (the skin of the coffee bean,) Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil, Organic Vitamin E. (tocopherol), Organic Carrot Seed Oil, and Organic Beeswax

Due to the Raw African Shea Butter, this product may get produce tiny balls or feel grainy. Simply rub the balm in your hands and this heat will make the product smooth for application. "Those grains are parts or molecules of your butter that cooled off faster than the rest. They have separated and have cooled off quickly, while the rest of your product has cooled off at a different temperature. Let that sink in for a minute: those grains are parts or molecules of your butter that cooled off faster than the rest. Welcome to homemade, synthetic-free skin care. In a traditional cosmetics lab, there are numerous ingredients and products that, when added to a formula, prevent grainy from forming." - From Better Shea Butter dot com

How to use.

Just a dab'll do ya! Using your ring finger, encircle the container until you have some of the balm on the tip. Your body temperature will melt the balm slightly, and that's ok, you've now created an oil that you'll use underneath and around the eye area. Dab on your orbital bone beneath the eye and then in a circular fashion, continue dabbing all around the eye socket and above your eyebrow. Use under and around the eyes for added moisture, to help remove stubborn mascara, and to help with those little tiny "smart" lines around the eyes. Best when used in the evening to soothe lines and bags around the eyes.

Caring for your Organic Product.

All our products are organic and don't like water because we don't use harmful chemical preservatives. Simply keep the water out of the products, because water can encourage bacterial growth. It's also a good idea to keep them out of direct sunlight and hot places, like your car, for instance. Now, as for our soaps, we know you have to mix with water to use them. After using, just keep the bar out of water as much as possible to prevent a gooey mess.

How we make it smell pretty!

We don't use anything synthetic that can cause irritation and over time, possible damage to your lungs. So, our products are mildly scented with pure plant materials, including pure, organic & natural essential oils.

What is plant infusion?

First, we have to harvest! We grow our own lavender and mint. Then, we dry it all out. Last, we mix the dried plants into oils like sunflower, olive and coconut. Using heat and time, this creates a thick, plant infusion that is then used in the products. We do the same with Roses, Shavegrass, Coffee, & Chamomile & source these from small, local businesses whenever possible.
